FMC 4500 managing 6 FTDs. All running 7.0.6.2. The FMC crashed and was RMA'd. We had to re-image the new FMC with 7.0.6 and then installed patch 2 to bring it up to 7.0.6.2. When I was ready to restore the config from a backup I discovered the only backup available was from prior to patch 2 being installed, so it would be running 7.0.6.
Can I uninstall patch 2from the FMC, restore the FMC config from backup and then re-install patch 2 without causing issues connecting to the FTDs? Can I do this remotely or do I need to take the FMC off the network temporarily to do this?
TIA
