FMC backup failure/Snort update install failure

Recently my backups and Snort updates started failing. My backup error is "Registration or CSM state are blocking Backup" and the Snort "Install failed at installing policy package". I do have a TAC case open, but they are taking their time. I am running FMC ver. 7.0.1. I did see that there is a bug regarding the backup error in version 6.0.1 but I would have figured that this would have been fixed in 7.0.1. 

I am hoping someone could point me in the direction to the logs so I can try and find out what specifically is stopping these from running.

Most of the time it happened due to weak internet connection. As the backup of belt sanders data show the same issue when we have poor internet connection. But when our internet connection become stable so its start proper working. So before doing anything check your internet connection. either it is fine or not.
