FMC classic and smart license

Hi,

we have an ASA 5512-x with FirePower handled with FMC, we also bought IPS classic license and all works fine.

Now we bougth two FirePower 2110, and the following smart license (Cisco AnyConnect Plus, Cisco FPR2110 Threat Defense Malware Protection, Cisco FPR2110 Threat Defense Threat Protection, Firepower MCv Device License) and we want to handle it through FMC.

I've already registered FMC with Cisco Smart Software Manager. From Cisco Smart Software Manager I see the smart license.

After that I still cannot see the smart license from FMC.

I've read from Cisco documentation that classic and smart license cant coexist, so what's wrong?

I have you tried to activate licensed features on the new devices in FMC?

They can coexist. I have an FMC managing both Smart (FTD) and Classic (ASA Firepower service module, classic Firepower appliance) license sensors.

You won't see the Smart licenses until you register an FTD device to the FMC and activate licenses on it.
