FMC Instance not registered with this management centre

Trying to deploy an Instance via the FMC. Instance gets created okay on the device

However I and am getting the error "This instances is not registered with this management centre".

The Instance does not display in the "Devices All" page. But it is on the device itself under instances?

Is there some way to force registration?

This registration error often occurs due to browser-related inconsistencies when creating or deploying instances in FMC. Here’s the workflow that resolved the issue:

Steps to Resolve

  1. Switch Browsers:

    • Use Microsoft Edge or Firefox instead of Chrome. Browser caching or compatibility issues in Chrome can occasionally disrupt the deployment process.

  2. Recreate the Instance:

    • Deploy the instance using the base image (avoid the patch).

    • Save the configuration immediately after creation, before initiating deployment.

  3. Validate Deployment:

    • After saving, redeploy the configuration to the device. This ensures FMC properly registers the instance.
