Hello all,
In light of advisory cisco-sa-20160330-fp (CVE-2016-1345), an attempt to upgrade FMC from build 6.0.1-1213 to build 6.0.1-1214 is not recognized.
First attempt was to let FMC detect/download the update, but this resulted in the following message "No new updates currently available."
Second attempt involved manually downloading the update file (Sourcefire_3D_Defense_Center_S3_Upgrade-6.0.1-1214.sh) from Cisco's website and uploading it to FMC and then attempt the install. This resulted in the following message "No valid appliances available for Sourcefire 3D Defense Center S3 Upgrade 6.0.1-1214. This update is intended for software versions greater than or equal to 6.0.0 and less than 6.0.1-1214."
This update build 6.0.1-1214 is required to install the recent hotfix (Sourcefire_3D_Defense_Center_S3_Hotfix-6.0.1.1-4.sh) as indicated in the Software Download page.
Did anybody face similar issues? Any possible solutions?
Thanks.

It looks like they've removed that package from the download site.
The FMC hotfix however is is posted with a date of 1 April 2016:
https://software.cisco.com/download/release.html?mdfid=286259687&reltype=latest&relind=AVAILABLE&dwnld=true&softwareid=286271056&rellifecycle=&atcFlag=N&release=6.0.1&dwldImageGuid=6A3C0C91DE0BC60ED7287D07E90402084B5EB3E7&flowid=54052
I was able to download and successfully install it on my virtual FMC version 6.0.1-1213.

Thank you Marvin,
Indeed, the build 6.0.1-1214 update file was removed from the download page. I applied the hotfix on the existing build 6.0.1-1213 and it was successfully installed.
Thank you for your help, appreciated.
