I am getting an error when trying to format disk1 (external flash) of ASA 5520:
rc-asa-01# format disk1:
Format operation may take a while. Continue? [confirm]
Format operation will destroy all data in "disk1:". Continue? [confirm]
%Error formatting disk1 ()
It will not recognize the external flash at all. Does anyone know why?
Also, is the internal flash hot swappable? I have the cover opened on the ASA 5520 and can try swapping it to see if it would read the flash card. The internal flash card was faulty so had to get a new flash card.
