FP2100 Communication to FMC

Hi Guys,

Just to check with you, in my previous deployment for FP we use the Mgmt interface as the communication going to the "br" of the FTD from the FMC.

In FP2100 series, is there's a way to terminate the SFTunnel via outside interface of the FTD?

Hi,
For registering FTD to FMC you need to use the dedicated management interface. You cannot register with inside or outside interface.

You can assign a public IP to the Mgmt interface.

The communications to the FMC are encrypted end to end by the appliances.
