FPR 1010 ASA / unregistered itself after moving it to another location

Hello everyone;

I have recently been contracted to deploy CISCO Fire Power 1010 ASA, so I normally register them from the office, then move them to the sites where they are supposed to be deployed, but then I experience that, after registering the device and moving it to the location after few days the device become unregistered and back to evaluation mode.

what could be the problem and how do I go around to solve this issue, because it's been dragging for couple of months and cisco support team seems not giving me a permanent solution.

Another problem is, when i want to create a TOKEN in my smart license account, i find it that the Strong Encryption tick-box is disabled too.

I hope to get timely response with solutions.

Check the NTP sync

The registration of fmc is time sensitive

What version are you running on the FMC and FTD?  I had an issue where all my FTDs were removed spontaneously when running version 6.6.5.  The solution was to unfortunately add them back and configure everything from scratch and then upgrade to a fixed release.

as for the Strong-encryption issue, do you have the strong encryption license in your smart account?
