I have a pair of 1140 in HA running FTD 7.0.1.1 - The FMC is also running 7.0.1.1.
They are fairly simple configured (12 ACP rules), but I keep getting warnings says "Deployed configurations are too large"
The alert details shows this:
Memory Allocation
Configuration Memory Required
Total Snort Memory 6.25 GB
Security Intelligence 241.00 MB
DNS/URL Blacklisting 36.00 MB
Policy Configuration Memory 5.06 GB
SSL Memory 0 B
Available Memory 239.82 MB
Notice how high both Snort and Policy are.
I've tried the following:
pmtool restartbytype snort
full reboot
Upgrade from 7.0.0 --> 7.0.1.1
Enable both Object Group Search and Interface Object Optimization
But the issue remains
Does anyone have a suggestion?

I recall there was a cosmetic bug for a similar issue but cannot find the BugID at the moment.
Is the device allowing you to deploy otherwise?

Yeah, i haven't been able find a BugID matching it.
Yes, the configuration is being deployed with no issues.

Hi sir, how did you resolve this issue? I have the same error, exactly the same. I can deploy any changes without any problem but the warning will not go away.
