Hello @imranul hoque,

The main difference between NGFW and UTM is in their scope and capabilities:

- NGFWs are designed to provide advanced security features that go beyond traditional firewalls. They often include features like intrusion prevention, application control, deep packet inspection, and more. NGFWs are focused on protecting against advanced threats and provide fine-grained control over network traffic.

- UTM devices are all-in-one security solutions that typically combine various security features into a single device. These features can include firewall, antivirus, anti-spam, content filtering, VPN, and more. UTM devices aim to simplify security management by offering a comprehensive suite of security services in one appliance.

The Cisco FPR1010E is an NGFw.

In terms of price, it can vary widely based on the specific model and features you choose. Typically, NGFWs tend to be more expensive than UTM devices because of their advanced threat protection capabilities.

For managing the Cisco FPR1010E, you can use either FMC (Firepower Management Center) or FDM (Firepower Device Manager). FMC is a centralized management platform that allows you to manage multiple Firepower devices from a single interface, making it suitable for larger deployments. FDM, on the other hand, is a local management interface on the device itself and is designed for smaller, standalone deployments.

Best regards
