What version of cisco devices started allowing the use of the API? I have a few ASA5506 version 6.2.3.18-50 and when I try to login to the API, all I get is a 401 unauthorized error.

@dsitsgroup 6.2.3 supports API - https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/doscs/security/firepower/623/fdm/fptd-fdm-config-guide-623/fptd-fdm-get-started.html?bookSearch=true

Do you get this authorisation error when you are making restapi requests?

Can you login to the API Explorer? Log into FDM, and then change the path on the URL to /#/api-explorer, for example, https://ftd.example.com/#/api-explorer.

@Rob Ingram I was able to look at the API explorer by doing that. I was then able to scroll to the bottom to see the base URL and what version the API was using. I thought it might be using version 5 but its actually using version 1. Either way I know have access to it. Thanks!
