FTD registration stay in pending in FMC

When add a FTD to FMC, the heartbeat somehow interrupted, then the registration process is staying in pending on FMC. seems in this situation, this registration process cannot be stopped or removed from FMC GUI.

have tried the following steps:

1. remove manager on FTD

2. restart FMC

3. use this script to clear the communication channel <<manage_procs.pl>>

is there some way to stop or remove this process?

can sure there is no packet loss on the link (vlan/subnets) where the FMC and FTD is on. are they on the same subnet?

you could also go to FTD and put this command

configure manager delete

show configure manager

later on add it again

configure manager add <FMC-IP> <KEY>

Thanks for the reply. but this is already tried in my first step :), from ftd, the manager configuration can be easily removed.
