FTD registration to FMC issues

ERROR: unable to connect to port 8305 (IPV4): Operation now in progress
INFO: No IPv4 connection to (FMC_IP)
INFO: Initiate IPV4 type connection
WARNING: Unable to connect to peer (FMC_IP)
INFO: reconnect to peer (FMC_IP)

Anyone seen this?

Keep getting error when trying to add FTD to FMC.

@Knassi can the FTD even route to the FMC? 

Is there a firewall or ACL in the path restricting communication?

Run tcpdump on the FMC to determine if there is even communication received from the FTD.

are there any NATing device 
if Yes there is you need NAT-ID

There is no nating. I did however try adding a nat IS and it didn't work

I think its a hardware issue

from FMC check if it listen to Port 8305 
from FTD check if you can ping to FMC

I think this issue is same of other issue (http) traffic'
