FTD: upgrading from 7.0.5 to 7.0.6.2 for Arcane door

got to upgrade to 7.0.6.2, currently running FTD on  7.0.5.

do I need to upgrade to 7.0.6, then apply the 7.0.6.2 patch to  7.0.6.

Or will the currently 7.0.6.2 bring my 7.0.5 directly to 7.0.6.2?

If you mean 7.2.5 to 7.2.6 then yes you can make that jump with no issue. Make sure to do both the FMC and the FTDs. But I think your version can differ depending on which firewall you have.

If you are on an older version of code you could have a lengthy upgrade process.

@tryingtofixit you can go from 7.0.5 direct to 7.0.6.2

If using FMC to manage the FTD(s) you need to upgrade the FMC first, then you can upgrade the managed FTDs.

I talked with TAC today and there are new patches out. Be sure you are going to the latest patch.
