FWSM/ASA: Get Number of Rules using SNMP?

In a terminal window on an FWSM module system context you get the number of access rules using the show resource acl-partition command.

This is really helpful and it would be nice to get this information on a daily basis to view in a chart. Is there a chance to get this information using SNMP? As far as I can see it's not in the Cisco Firewall-MIB.

Hi Beat,

You're right. The number of access rule count using the command "sh resource acl-partition" command is not available via SNMP.

Hope this is clear.

Anu
