Get the ping from low security to high security zone in asa

Is there any clear document to understand the "allow icmp " from low security zone to higher security zone.

If I understand correctly you are trying to ping from a host connected to the inside interface to a host on the outside.

In this case the icmp packets are being sent, but the return packets are being drooped.

In order to correct this you could:

- enable icmp inspect

- allow icmp reply packets on the outside interface
