We have a PIX 506E and I want to make the tx/rx traffic visable to my network monitor. I also would like to see what the port traffic looks like.

You can use IDS/ IPS solution which can monitors the network traffic and act upon the malicious based on the signature defined.

Depending on what you mean by traffic visibility.

You can use an SNMP tool to analyse interface performance such as MRTG or you can get a more sophisticated package to further analyse your traffic such as EIQ-Networks analyser.
