Hi,

Connect console cable to FTD and enter the below commands to assaign IP address to the managemnet port.

Firepower-chassis# scopefabric-interconnect a

To view the current management IP address, enter the following command:

Firepower-chassis /fabric-interconnect # show

Enter the following command to configure a new management IP address and gateway

Firepower-chassis /fabric-interconnect # set out-of-band static ip ip_address netmask network_mask gw gateway_ip_address

Firepower-chassis /fabric-interconnect* # commit-buffer

Then connect the cable to Management port and access via GUI

Hope This Helps

HI,

I had do your recommendation yet, but it didn't work.

I can ping the management ip, but still can't connect the GUI on browser.

Is there any other solution?

Thanks for your reply

Hi Leon,

In addition to the information provided above, you need to create an "ip-block" which basically specify the IP subnet allowed to perfom this operation on the box. the steps are as following:

      1. scope system

      2. scope services

      3. create ip-block <subnet> <subnet length> <service>

          - For instance, to allow https service for 10.128.128.0 /24 subnet you will need to enter: create ip-block 10.128.128.128 24 https.

      4. Commit-buffer.

Hope this will help,

Karl.
