How to determine what PIX model I have.

I have and old PIX and I am tring to find out what the model is. This box has a floppy drive in the front and 6 slots in the back . the power switch ,console failover,and power supply are in the back also.all that I can find to identify what it is is on the back of the box it says "PIX Firewall/LocalDirector". Can this box be upgraded it has 4.4 code now.

You probably have a PIX classic or PIX 10000 model.

Does show ver tell you anything.

You can also lookup through your serial number what model it is ? you might have to call the TAC for this to find out.

Once you find out the correct model, refer to the Release notes on PIX documentation page
