ASA01(config)# object-group network o365-Skype rename teams
                                                                               ^
ERROR: % Invalid input detected at '^' marker.
ASA01(config)#

Remove object first from the object-group and add again in new group.

object-group network TEST no network-object <object-to-be-removed>

Thanks,

HI Jitendra,

Thank you for reply,

Its huge list of objects included in this old object-group name, If I execute no network-object <old object-group> will this delete all the objects updated in this old object-group ?

I just want to rename the Object-group name without deleting or modifying the objects inside the object-group.

regards,

Antony.

You cannot do it directly. what you can do is to create a new object-group and then modify the places where the old name is called out to use the new name instead. Then you can delete the old one.

This is where the  ADSM is useful for this task.

please do not forget to rate.

object-group { protocol | network | icmp-type | security | user | network-service } grp_name<-rename is missing from object-group

object network name [ rename new_obj_name ]<-
