how to use firepower as a DNS server

is there option in FTD to act as a dns server  so we can create A and SRV records ?

As far as I know it is not possible to create DNS A and SRV records in FTD.

No. that's definitely not a feature nor do I expect it ever would be. Cisco doesn't play in that market segment.

They used to have a large enterprise / carrier class product (Cisco Network Registrar) but it went End of Sales and the recommend replacement for that is to go with BT's Diamond IP IPControl product.
