when i tried to open IDM 5.1 to access the 4215 sensor, it give me not enough heap memory, and i also do as the help said to chanage it by add the -Xmx256m in the Java RunTime Parameters field but it still didn't work, can any body help me in this case?

I had similar problem , i tried several browsers nad Java version
Java 1.5 (http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/java2)
-Uninstall java
-be sure, that you have all 'plugins-object' related uninstalled/deleted:
Explorer > Internet Options > General > Settings... >View Objects...
Reinstall java 1.5 (from above link)
and then set the following as below in Java (-Xmx256M)
Now try to connect to the IDS via https

but when i uninstall java and reinstall the one that you mention, and look at at the control panel for change the value for java, i didn't see java plug-in while i see only java and when i open it, there is no place for put this value:-Xmx256M
so what can i do for this problem please help me ASAP,

dear the link talk about java plug in but i told you that when i installed it i only see java and there is no place for the command to write it down

Hey Ahmed,
i have good news for you, i had the same the pb like you, pb with my JAVA i followed the cisco's procedure without any success to access the IDM but when i upgrade the cache memory on my java console to 256 Mo i suceed, hope this will help you.
