I'm having an issue whereby my IDSM-2 blade running IPS 5.1(1) S214.0 keeps dying. I need to go into the switch and reset the module to get it going. After resetting it, the IDS logs events and works for a while then stops again. Could the volume of events be killing it or ????
Since the log files wrap, I doubt the volume is causing a problem. I'm seeing this with one IDSM running 6.1(2)E3 that's getting about 200 Mb/s of busy hour traffic.
