IDSM configuration help

hi,

I will configure an idsm module (S/W version 6) in switch 6500 for the first time so , can i configure the module through IDM ( i.e graphical interface) like any sensor device or not??? and How can i do this??

The basic configuration has to be done via the CLI have a look at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/vpndevc/ps4077/products_configuration_guide_chapter09186a0080459221.html

It should be similar for 5.X and 6.X.

Then you could login through your web interface to configure this as you do the appliance.
