Hello,
I have a PIX 515 running version 7.2.2. I want to inject a default route on the inside and on the dmz only. How do I do this? I tried to use the default information originate command but it also inject the default route into the outside interface. Hhow can I do this without sendin the default route to the outside?
Thanks
Lorenz

Hi .. make sure you only enable OSPF on the interfaces you need.
network ip_address mask area area_id
for example if your inside IP address is 10.10.10.10 then you will configure
network 10.10.10.10 255.255.255.255 area 0
I hope it helps .. please rate it if it does !!!

Hello Fernando,
Thank you so much for your reply. my problem is with RIP (oh sorry i forgot to specify this one). If i try to use "default information originate" on the RIP config mode on PIX, I also get default information sent to outside. I only want to send it on the inside. I tried many attempts in the config but I still cannot make it. what should I do?
