Hi,

I have ASA 5520 in my office and we are observing interface errors in LAN int gi0/2. How to fix this input errors on the interface.

I enabled flow control but still observing input errors and causing packet drops.

I am not sure what causing drops to my LAN. Need some help ...

Hi, your input errors are: 128 input errors TOTAL caused by 128 overrun.

According to this documents

https://community.cisco.com/t5/network-architecture-documents/overruns-counter-in-the-show-interfaces-command-output-is/ta-p/3131954

if the capacity of the interface is exceeded, the frame that is currently being  received is dropped and the overrun counter is incremented.

What is the bandwidth used?

Tipically 128 overruns on a total of 267 millions of packets input are not a problem.

Regads.

Hi Daniele,

I cleared the interface errors. Need to monitor for some time and check.

Santosh
