Our ASA-5525 is not fitting with the ASA-RAILS.
We are having a problem trying to fit it into a 600mm deep rack.
When fitted in place at the front we can not move the mount back far enough to be able to fit the casing and pin in the holes.
The Cisco web site does not provide much information
But it does say
“Note
: For racks shorter than 24 inches in depth, remove the rear bracket with a Phillips head screwdriver, pull the release tab, and adjust the slide rail to the appropriate length for the rack.”
This does not seem to make sense as there is no Phillips head screws used on the kit, it is all rivetted together and can’t be moved.
Can you provide any insight, or is there an alternative component or mounting system to be able to mount the firewall in a 600mm rack? Pic for reference

i did install these kits with rails, not seen any difficulties, tricky part of that is sliding and locking, once you understand clicks and clips its easy, they are adjustable. (i am not a racking/stacking expert person, but i do install most of the Cisco kit in the rack never seen any issue) - until i am reading wrong here.
I am sure you extracted the content from the below document (just mentioning in case not come across)
