Hello,

I have a 5512-X in my home lab and recently just set it up in transparent mode and installed FirePOWER on the SSD.

sh route

C 169.254.1.0 255.255.255.252 is directly connected, nlp_int_tap

Any info that would help in understanding the above would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Grant,

ASA started using internal-data0/3 after cisco introduced FTD. This is a internal communication interface. The output which you are seeing in show route shouldn't be there you can consider this asa a cosmetic BUG. Please find the BUG details below
