Can we give the IP address on outside and dmz interface like 10.10.1.2 and 10.10.1.3 respectively. Can we have the same subnet for the two interfaces.
Any help would be appreciated.

Nope, can't do it.
(If you work for Cisco, we have internal PIX email aliases that can help you out with questions like this).

HI.
You cannot, but you can do the following:
Use private addressing at the DMZ, and STATIC to map 10.10.1.3 to the private address of the host.
This is a common simple DMZ setup.
