IPS license Question

Dear ALL

I will install an IPS sensor 4215 and AIP-SSM module for a customer for the first time . I need to ask about something :

Am I need to purchase a license to download the signature updates to the IPS ????

Is this license needed for one time and I can download signature updates all the times after that or this license must be renewed after certain time( for example :every year )? How can I renew it?

Is this license per user or per server ???

You need to buy the support service(CON-SU...) from Cisco.

This will give you:

• Signature file updates and alerts

• Registered access to Cisco.com for online tools and technical assistance

• Access to Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC)

• Cisco IPS Sensor Software updates

• Options for Advance replacement of failed hardware

The service contract is valid for 1 year and is per device.
