Hi,
I'm looking into getting a firewall with Firepower Threat Detection. I want to know if this will give me any SQL Injection protection via the IPS.
I've looked this up and I see old entries from the Cisco Community from 2008 and 2011 that mention the 5930 family of signatures for generic SQL Injection protection. Are those signatures still available and on by default in 2021?
I understand that I'll still need a Web Application Firewall but it would be nice to tell my management team that we will have potentially two layers - Firepower IPS and the WAF - for SQL Injection protection.
Thanks!
