Hi all,
In my network two WAN connections have been terminated to ISA 550 firewall through two ADSL routers
and firewall is working also as the internal DHCP server to facilitate approximately 190 IPs to clients.
System CPU and Memory resources percentages are consecutively 4% and 35%.
My question is,
Every morning firewall is stucked. Even WAN and LAN connections are ok, it is indicating only the power LED with
solid green. After few minutes by restarting the firewall it is working properly again.
Can anybody explain this?
Thanks,
Charith

Have you installed latest firmware? 190 clients for an ISA 550 is way to much!
There are many known problems for the ISA, so I'd advise you to use a time switch to reboot the device every night, until the bugs are fixed.

Hi Michael,
Yes i upgraded the firmware to latest version before any configuration.
Even the DHCP pool is extensive, whole client count is less than 20 users.
Is there no any solution to fix this issue except reboot the device every night ?
Thanks,
Charith

You can try disabling all features you really don't need (e.g. Security Services), to see if this helps.
Also temporary disable 1 DSL and only use 1 upstream for testing.
