Issues Upgrading ASDM Image from 7.13.x to 7.18.x

Good afternoon.

We recently attempted to upgrade the firmware and ASDM image on our ASA devices. When upgrading the ASDM image from 7.13.x to 7.18.x, and installing the ASDM Launcher update (v1.97), we could no longer launch the device manager from those ASA devices.

Rolling back to the previous version on the ASAs and re-installing the ASDM Launcher version restores ASDM access.

I have checked the Java compatibility and we are using the correct version.

Could someone provide any suggestions please?

The appliance was compatible with ASDM 7.18.x when the software was downloaded. When the launcher was installed the ASDM software could not launch for those ASAs. It also couldn't launch to a Firepower 1100 appliance either.
