Just bought PIX 501 with 3DES licence, Where can you find the License key ?

Well, My PIX501 just come in the mail today. I first read all the documents that came with it, but nothing mention about the 3des license that is included in my purchase. The box said that the 3des key is included, but I dont see it anywhere. I bought this pix for a lab and need more understanding about the licensing. Let say I would like to upgrade my PIX OS from 6.1 to the most current one, I do need to re enter my 3des key am I correct ? Hopefully someone here can explain how this licensing works. I always like to update to the most current OS, but if that will get rid of the 3des license I have, I am not going to do it........ Comments anyone ??

The 3DES license gets carried over when you update your PIX code. To check

if you have a pix that is 3DES enabled, do a show ver, and it would tell you whether 3DES is enabled or not. If you don't have it enabled and you don't have the key, you could either email licensing@cisco.com, or log a TAC case

stating your PIX serial no., proof of purchase of 3DES keys (most of there is some paperwork included with the PIX about 3DES licensing if you have purchased it), and ask to provide you the appropriate key.
