Hi!
Would it be possible, using Cisco PIX, to set up a lan-to-lan VPN where the peer has a dynamic ip?
The peer-command doesnt seem to accept a hostname (as something.dyndns.org).
What about IOS? Is it possible there?
/Thanks

Hi,
How about setting up dynamic to static L2L and using a regular traffic generator from the dynamic end to keep the tunnel up. ie, constant ping.
Cheers,
Paul.

Sure, that might have been an option, but in my case, both peers are using dynamic ip-addresses. (it's for testing)
I cant rely on that the VPN never will go down, would like to know that it comes up ok after a powerloss or something.
