Licensing question for pix 515s in a failover set

I have a client with dual pix 515s in a failover set. I just recently downloaded the 3DES activation keys for both boxes, and noticed something strange. The serial number for the pix currently configured as primary received the FO license, and the serial number of the pix currently configured as the failover box received the UR license. In other words, he has the pixes reversed (I assume the failover serial cable was installed backwards.)

My questions is, what are the ramifications of this? Does it matter if the licenses on the boxes are reversed? Will it affect operations? If not, I'm inclined to leave it the way it is.

hello,

is he sure that he had entered the right license key for the right box.. anyway, since it now works with primary-failover mode, i dont see any problems in this. let it go the way it is now.. anyway, u can get it clarified from cisco... try mailing them at licensing@cisco.com
