Licensing SecMon

I run SecMon 1.2 to view syslog events generated by my PIXs. Lately I have received an error 'Licence for IDS MC expired

Please update the licence'

I have the VMS bundle 2.2 and do not have any problems with the Firewall MC. I am not running any IDSs, I use it only for the PIX. Do I need to purchase an IDS MC license in order to be able to continue to use SecMon for my firewalls??

the only license that you might need is the ciscoworks common services license. this will either be limited or unlimited licenses. Once you update this license, you can work on idsmc or secmon without any issues. talk to your cisco partner for this..
