Hi Friends,
I have ASA 5520 with dual ISP .Both isp's are terminated in same box.I want to load balance between isp. How to achieve this.I know about static route tracking. My requirement is I need to allow the specific source to secondary ISP when primary is active. I Think PBR is not supported in ASA. Any suggestions ..
Regards,
Prabakar

Unfortunately load balancing is one of the feature which is not supported on an ASA firewall.
Static route tracking is for failing over from one ISP to the other, however, this is not the feature that you are looking for.
You would need to terminate both ISP on a router in front of the ASA to achieve load balancing of ISPs.

Hi ,
Is there any way to route the packets to secondery ISP based on services( like all the traffic via primary ISP ,only HTTP traffic via secondery ISP).

No, unfortunately that is also not supported on the ASA.
You can configure that with PBR with router, but not on ASA.

instead of using router, you can do load-balancing (sharing) if you use Checkpoint running on Nokia IP appliances or Checkpoint Gaia. They Both of them can use BGP to do this for you
