I am using the Cisco VPN Client version 5.0.01.0600. I can connect to the VPN resources fine. However, as soon as I log into the VPN network I lose all connectivity to my local physical lan. My machine is dual homed and one of the IP addresses shows the local lan and the other shows the VPN lan. Is there any way to access both lan segments at the same time?

John, yes it is possible , it is called split tunnel .. the far end VPN gateway will have to allow that by configuring the RA tunnel as a (split tunnel).
