Local LAN Access with PIX Firewall

One of my clients wants me to use a VPN connection through his PIX Firewall to work on his computers.

From reading the documentation, I have been unable to determine if the PIX Firewall can be configured to enable me to have local LAN access at the same time as a VPN connection. It's no use unless can I do this.

I'm new to this stuff, so any help will be greatly appreciated.

The PIX dos do split tunnelling, which will allow you to still connect to other computers while the tunnel is up.

Sample config is here:

http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/471/vpn3002pix-6421.shtml

NB: Dont worry that this is for a 3002 hardware client, the PIX config is the same. Note the "vpngroup" command with the split-tunnel option pointing to an access-list.
