We are looking for a way to export Firepower Management Center config to text so we can install to a "stand alone" ASA. We had a pair of FMC managed 5508-x ASA die on us and need a quick way to dump out the config in stored in FMC to clear text to install to temporary (-nonFMC) firewalls while the RMA is processing. The export for FMC is not human readable. Is there a way to do this. FMC v 6.3
No it cannot be done. If the ASAs were running ASA image and Firepower service modules, FMC wouldn't know anything about the ASA config file in any case. The Firepower configuration in that use case would not transfer to any non-Firepower device.
