We have a pair of FTD 1140's that we did initial configuration on with IPs 10.1.10.1 and 10.1.10.2. We have to move these to another VLAN for production, so these became 10.4.192.1 and 10.4.192.2. I made the change with the following commands:
expert
sudo su
cd /etc/sysconfig
configure-network (today I had to do sudo configure-network because it complained I hadn't identified which interface to configure)
The problem is that if there is a hiccup on the interface (meaning it goes down even briefly), it reverts back to 10.1.10.1 or 10.1.10.2, and we lose the ability to manage the device. They are a considerable distance away, so I need to figure out this problem. Can someone tell me what I'm missing here? Thank you.

The above commands are not the correct ones. The following resolved the issue:
configure network ipv4 manual 10.4.192.1 255.255.255.0 10.4.192.254
