Mac Exchange Client connectivity through PIX to Exchange Server

I have a customer with many Mac OS-9.x clients using exchange. These clients are on an interface of the PIX with lower security than the "server" interface, which hosts the Exchange server.

Windows users can access the exchange server, but Mac users cannot (at least not consistently). Further, their machines freeze, causing them to hard boot.

Thsi PIX is running 6.2(2). Anyone else having this problem? I don't know much about the Mac exchange client, so any information there would be good, too.

Hi Mike,

did try to disable mailguard? Try the command "no fixup protocol smtp" and test the MAC-Clients.
