I am reading the user guide on how to enable the "real time event viewer" query type but the radio button for it is greyed out. Any thoughts on that?

Only certain "result format" types are supported. In particular, only the bottom eight format types starting with "all matching sessions".

Real time event viewer works best if you're using the all matching raw data option. If you're watching a busy box it's not much help 🙂
