Microsoft Azure Cisco ASAv - ASDM Web Interface

Hi there

I am currently beginning a PoC for the ASAv on Microsoft Azure. I have installed the Marketplace offering, which has created all the resource groups, NIC's etc and the ASAv machine is running.

I have created a secondary machine within the virtual network, from which I am able to PuTTY to the ASAv and I have set an enable password.

From this point, I am trying to access the web interface for ASDM but unable to do so. According to the documentation, the web interface/service for ASDM should be pre-configured, but trying to access https://_assigned_ip_/admin goes nowhere. I have tried using the ASAv management interface private IP and public IP, both have the same result.

Can anybody help me identify what I am missing here please? I am very new to Cisco and just getting used to using the commands.

Sure, according to the document - The ASAv deployment preconfigures ASDM access. You can connect to the ASAv management IP address with a web browser from the client IP address you specified during deployment. 

if you are able to login using SSH with putty.

check http server enable in the config, check asmd - show asdm image
