migrating ASA 5520 ver 8.2(2)5 to 8.3

We have some Iegacy alias commands in our current ASA 5520 config for the dmz servers. The DMZ servers are not accessible from the outside - Does 8.3 support the alias command?

Hello,

No, ASA 8.3 does not support the alias command. This functionality has been rolled into the 'nat' command. Here is an example of what the equivalent configuration would look like:

Old Configuration:
alias (inside) 209.165.200.225 192.168.100.10
New Configuration:
object network obj-192.168.100.10
     host 192.168.100.10
     nat (any,inside) static 209.165.200.225 dns
