Hi,
I am setting up ASA 5525-X for Client to Site VPN. I have users on old RADIUS server which I want to blow away. Idea is to migrate users and passwords from RADIUS (old linux box) to ASA. Is it possible to migrate password hashes? Hashes are in this form:
$1$12345678$1234567890123456789012
As far as I know, this is md5crypt, MD5(Unix), FreeBSD MD5, Cisco-IOS MD5 type hash so maybe it would work...
If I try to create user with:
username johndoe password $1$12345678$1234567890123456789012 encrypted privilege 15 command in CLI i get error:
Encrypted password is of incorrect length
ERROR: Malformed encrypted hash
ERROR: Username addition failed.
Any ideas?
Thank you for your help!
Regards,
Orico

Sorry but you will have to recreate user passwords on the ASA.
