Moving internal network to DMZ

Guys,

I have an existing network that I would like to move into a DMZ on my ASA 5520, what is the best method? the gateway is currently on the core, I was wondering if I could move the gateway to the interface of the ASA?

Yes you can and that's probably the easiest way to migrate it.
