I need to uninstall the 4.8 NAC agent from a Mac running OS X 10.6 so I can downgrade to the 4.7.3 agent for testing. When I follow the instructions in the documentation for components to delete in order to uninstall the client, then I reboot and start the 4.7.3 install, when I get to the "Select a Destination" screen there's a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark on the disk and a message "Cisco Clean Access can't be installed on this disk. A newer version of this software already exists on this disk." Here are the things I've done to uninstall the agent, which resulted in the same outcome:
-- Show hidden files
-- Per documentation, delete the application from the Applications folder
-- Per documentation, look in the /Library/Receipts folder for a receipt in the CCAAgent.pkg file, which I do not see there. The only CCAAgent.pkg file I can find is the one I'm doing the installation from, which is in the user Documents folder
-- Delete /<user>/Library/Application Support/Cisco Systems and subfolders
-- Edit /Library/Receipts/InstallHistory.plist to remove entry about CCA Agent
I can't think of anything else to do or look for. Any suggestions?
