Dear all
I need your advice about NAC systems
I have two options for NAC one is from juniper (IC-4500) and second is from Cisco , and all our network environment switches and routers is cisco . Is there any advantage or disadvantage if I use NAC from different vender like juniper with cisco environments ? , and what is the best option.
What is the best model of Cisco NAC for user from 1500-2000
Thanks

Hello
I would suggest going for one vendor in your scenario to reduce the learning curve and making it easier to integrate and manage the network. Feature wise you would fine anything missing in both camps.
Please see this link for ordering NAC; however it is best to approach a local cisco partner to help you out with this.
Please rate if you find the input helpul; Thanks

If you stick with Cisco you'll be able to use the Out-of-band configuration which is extremely useful for large deployments such as the one you're doing. This configuration only works with Cisco switches which you have already.
With an out-of-band configuration, the maximum throughput of the NAC Applicance does not limit the traffic going through the network as it would with a normal in-band deployment.
For details about in-band vs. out-of-band, follow this link (or use Google):

Hope that helps!
